Transportation labels for self-inscription: for the labeling of lithium-metal batteries and batteries with lithium compounds (UN number 3090). The white labels with black im print are valid as of 01/01/2017 for all shipped goods, which have lithium metal batteries or batteries with lithium compounds, according to special regulation 188. The transportation labels are in accordance with UN-number 3090 an in line with guidelines of ADR, RID, ADN, IMDG, IATA and GGVSEB.
In order to fulill the legal regulations for the transportation of ltihium-ion batteries, it is your duty as the sender to check for the newest transportations regulations and norms. Please note: as of 01/01/2019, the use of the transportation labels will become mandatory. As of 01.01.2023, it is no longer necessary to enter a telephone number. Already printed labels may be used until 31.12.2026.
