Transportation labels for manual inscription: for the labeling of lithium-metal batteries and batteries with lithium compounds (UN number 3091). The white labels with black imprint are mandatory as of 01/01/2017 for all shipped goods which contain small lithium metal batteries or batteries with lithium compounds, in accordance with special regulation 188. The transportation labels are in accordance with UN-number 3091 and conform to ADR, RID, ADN, IMDG, IATA and GGVSEB.
In order to meet the legal guidelines for the transportation of lithium-ion batteries and lithium-polymer batteries, it is the duty of the sender to check and abide by all transportation regulations and norms. Please note: as of 01/01/2019, the use of the transportation labels will become mandatory. As of 01.01.2023, it is no longer necessary to enter a telephone number. Already printed labels may be used until 31.12.2026.
